Narsingh Temple Joshimath, is an ancient temple for Lord Narshimna, the fourth incarnation of Vishnu. It is present in Chamoli district of Uttara khand, and is one of the 108 ‘Divya Deshams’ of Vishnu. Since the temple is a part of ‘Sapt Badri’, it is also popular as Narsingh Badri Temple. As per reports, the famous Narsingh idol in the temple is shrinking continuously, such that the right arm of the idol is ‘thin as a hair’ as per devotees. According to a prophecy, a destructive landslide will occur when the right arm of the idol falls down. This will hence block the route to Badrinath. It is a part of the Char Dham Yatra destinations within Uttarakhand. .. Read More
